WE AT STARLET, GIVE YOU THE ASSURANCE THAT ALL APARTMENTS ADVERTISED ARE OF A HIGH STANDARD, ARE FULLY EQUIPPED AND THE STANDARDS OF CLEANLINESS ARE EXTREMELY HIGH.
A deposit of 25% is payable on acceptance of your booking in order to guarantee your accommodation.
Payments may be made by Credit Card, Master, Visa, Amex or Diners. We forward you an authorisation voucher, you complete it and sign it and return it to us by fax or e-mail together with a scan or photostat of the front and back of the credit card.
Deposits may also be made in Cash. You will be advised of the Bank account particulars by e-mail. Deposits must include any bank charges, forex charges etc.
For Peak Season Bookings, the total rental due must be paid no later than 30 days prior to your arrival. Failure to do so could result in your booking being cancelled.
For bookings out of Peak Season, the total rental due must be paid no later than 14 days prior to your arrival. Failure to do so could result in your booking being cancelled.
Breakage Deposit:
A breakage/key deposit equivalent to a days rental with a minimum of R500 is required, payable on arrival in cash or guaranteed by credit card, refundable into your nominated account or credit card within 5 days of your departure, everything being in good order.
Cleaning Fee:
A once off exit cleaning fee of between R250 and R500 depending on the size of the property is payable. This applies to the majority of apartments unless it has been included in the price. This covers the cost of cleaning the apartment and laundering all linen etc on your departure.
Should a cleaning service be required then that can be arranged at a seperate tariff for your account. Certain properties have a daily service included in the price. This will be specified on the specifications of certain properties.
Late Arrival Policy:
No late arrivals after office hours or public holidays will be entertained unless by prior arrangement in writing with Starlet. A late arrival fee
for pre -arranged arrivals after 18h00 of R250.00 will be charged.
For late arrivals that have not been pre-arranged a late arrival fee of R400 will be charged.
It must be noted that all apartments are privately owned with no staff in attendance so it is necessary to pre arrange staff in order to meet you
and book you in after hours.
Cancellations Policy
- More Than 30 Days Prior too Arrival:
In the event of the booking being cancelled, your deposit will be refunded at prevailing exchange rates, where applicable, less an amount equal to 20% of the Total Rental.This will be effected within seven (7) working days.
- Cancellations 8 - 30 Days prior to Arrival:
You will forfeit an amount equivalent to 50% of the total rental. Any balance will be returned within 7 working days at the current exchange rates, where applicable.
- Cancellations 0 - 7 days prior to arrival or whilst in Residence:
You will forfeit 100% of the Total rental you have paid. In the event that the client is able to rent out the apartment to another client, then the owner of the apartment undertakes to refund any such amount, direct to you, less a 10 % administration charge.
